Sleep in Heavenly Peace Project

Galatians 6:10a: “So then, as we have opportunity, let us do good to everyone”.
Recently Sleep in Heavenly Peace was featured on CTV News, Check out their great work!
Last spring the high school woodworking classes took on a project where they built beds for the non-profit organization Sleep in Heavenly Peace. This organization originated in the U.S. and came into Canada in 2019 and its goal is to build beds for families in need.
Last year we built 18 beds and most of these beds were set up in homes within one week of being built. And not only are the beds supplied, but each bed comes with a mattress, sheets, comforter, and pillow.
This spring we hope to build about 20 beds once again. As we have seen everywhere, costs have gone up and so in order to reach our goal, we need your prayerful and financial support once again. Please consider how you can contribute to this work of service.
It is important to note that SHP really values the involvement of schools in helping them fulfill their mission. In the summer, build programs can be done outside, but in the winter that is not an option and so the schools can help keep the supply of beds up so that those in need can be assisted.
